Apple Final Cut Pro update the month of October 2006.
The 5.1.2 update. adds support for FxPlug plug-ins for Motion and more capture formats, according to the publication Digit.
Final Cut Pro 5.1.2 also offers improved support for XDCAM of Sony, Panasonic P2 and HDV.
The update adds support for 18Mbps and 35Mbps video as XDCAM IMX 30. Final Cut Pro only supported prior to 25Mbps CBR version of XDCAM .
The P2 import tool has been extended and now allows more information about clips, and subclips.
Added support for 24P and 25P versions of HDV .
